1. Who We Are

HomeGrove is developed and operated by QVO Group. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the HomeGrove iOS application ("App") and the HomeGrove marketing website at homegrove.app ("Website").

2. How the App Stores Your Data

HomeGrove stores all user data exclusively on your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. Specifically:

• All data (home profiles, maintenance tasks, service contacts, service history, equipment records) is stored in your private iCloud database
• HomeGrove does not operate any server, backend, database, or API
• We have no technical ability to access, view, retrieve, or process your data
• Data syncs between your devices through iCloud, managed entirely by Apple
• Data stored in iCloud is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and iCloud Terms of Service

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

The HomeGrove iOS app does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Email addresses, names, or personal identifiers
• Location data (location is used once during onboarding for climate zone detection, processed on-device, and immediately discarded — never transmitted to us)
• Contacts data (the app uses Apple's native contact picker, which does not grant access to your contacts; only information you explicitly select is stored locally on your iCloud)
• Usage analytics, behavioral data, or telemetry
• Advertising identifiers or tracking pixels
• Health, financial, or biometric data
• Device fingerprints or unique device identifiers
• Crash reports (we do not use any crash reporting service)

4. Information Collected by the Website

The HomeGrove marketing website (homegrove.app) uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic. This may collect:

• Pages visited, referring websites, and session duration
• Anonymized IP addresses
• Browser type and operating system
• General geographic region (country/city level)

This analytics data is collected only on the website, not in the iOS app. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser opt-out extension.

5. Payments

Payment processing for the one-time in-app purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. HomeGrove does not receive, store, or process any payment information, including credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials. 6. Contacts Integration

HomeGrove uses Apple's CNContactPickerViewController to let you import contractor contact information. This native iOS picker:

• Does not require contacts permission or access to your full address book
• Only provides information for the specific contact(s) you explicitly select
• Stores the selected name, phone number, and contact identifier in your private iCloud database only

7. Notifications

HomeGrove uses local notifications only (scheduled on your device via iOS). We do not operate a push notification server. No notification content or scheduling data is transmitted to us or any third party.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored on your iCloud account:

• Deleting the app removes local data from your device. iCloud data may persist until cleared from iCloud.
• The "Delete All Data" option in Settings permanently removes all HomeGrove data from your iCloud account.
• We cannot delete your data on your behalf because we do not have access to it.

9. Children's Privacy

HomeGrove is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we collect no personal information from any user, this concern does not apply in practice.

10. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)

Because HomeGrove does not collect, store, or process personal information, most data subject rights (access, deletion, portability, correction) are not applicable to us. Your data is under your exclusive control via your iCloud account.

For data stored in iCloud, you can exercise your rights directly through Apple's Data and Privacy portal.

11. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following Apple services only:

• iCloud (CloudKit) — for data storage and sync
• StoreKit 2 — for in-app purchase processing
• Local Notifications — for maintenance reminders

The app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, social media, or data processing services.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since we collect no personal information through the app, changes will primarily relate to website analytics practices or legal compliance updates.
